Dr. Jason Caplan obtained his MD from the University of Calgary. He went on to complete residency training as Chief Resident in Family Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Having held the positions of Lecturer at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine, and courtesy Staff physician at Sunnybrook and Women’s College Hospitals. In 2004, Dr. Caplan began training in Interventional Pain Management including various Nerve Blocks, Caudal Epidurals, Trigger Point, Botox, and cortisone injections. He is a credentialed Diplomat of the American and Canadian Academies of Pain Management. Dr. Caplan is recognized as a Pain Specialist by the CPSO and has trained several MDs who have changed their scope of practice to Interventional Pain Management for the CPSO.
